Maths sharing

This week we have been exploring sharing. We used different manipulatives to practise sharing items between two teddy bears having a picnic. We talked about the words equal, fair and share, and discussed what these words mean. The children worked hard to make sure each teddy bear had the same amount and began to understand that sharing fairly means everyone gets an equal share.
