Phonics tricky words
Playing games today to help us remember our 20 tricky words. We had lots of fun rolling the dice - subitising the number and then counting the spaces and moving along the board only after reading the tricky words!
Reading Books
Today your child should be bringing home a plastic folder with a 'reading book' in it. At the moment these books don't have words in them but are a chance for you to share the pictures, discuss what is happening and spot different objects. As we start to learn our sounds, we will introduce books with words in them. In the folder there will also be the sounds we have looked at this week.
