Welcome back

 A huge welcome back to everyone following our winter break! We hope you had restful break and everyone is feeling refreshed for our Spring Term. All the staff in Early Years would like to say a huge thank you for the presents we received before Christmas- we especially liked seeing the Christmas cards written by the children and the notes of appreciation from you.  Today your child should be bringing home a plastic folder with a 'reading book' in it. At the moment these books don't have words in them but are a chance for you to share the pictures, discuss what is happening and spot different objects. As we start to learn our sounds, we will introduce books with words in them.  In the folder there will also be the sounds we have looked at this week.
