Phonics- autumn 2 week 1
Today we have been looking at our tricky words. And today we had a visit from Tricky Trevor who tried to help us to remember those words that cannot be easily sounded out!
Reading Books
Today your child should be bringing home a plastic folder with a 'reading book' in it. At the moment these books don't have words in them but are a chance for you to share the pictures, discuss what is happening and spot different objects. As we start to learn our sounds, we will introduce books with words in them. In the folder there will also be the sounds we have looked at this week. I wonder if your child can sing our song to you for each sound? ants on an apple, a, a, a tiger on a tv, t, t, t sausages are sizzling, s, s, s po popcorn is popping, p, p, p
