Maths - matching, sorting, and making sets

This week we’ve been busy exploring matching, sorting, and making sets through lots of fun, hands-on activities. The children really enjoyed listening to the story Seaweed Soup and used this to extend their play experiences during Adventure time.

 Today your child should be bringing home a plastic folder with a 'reading book' in it. At the moment these books don't have words in them but are a chance for you to share the pictures, discuss what is happening and spot different objects. As we start to learn our sounds, we will introduce books with words in them.  In the folder there will also be the sounds we have looked at this week.
