Drawing Club- Mr Wolf's Pancakes
Today we started to look at the book Mr Wolf's Pancakes, which led to a lovely discussion about what we like to have on our pancakes. The story had a surprising twist at the end that left us all shocked. Mr Wolf's Pancakes Read aloud We are getting a lot better at our letter formation and today some of us even had a go at writing a small phrase in our books- good job!
Phonics- Spring 2- week 1
This week we are starting to look at the digraphs er, oi, ow and nk. I wonder if anyone can find them in their reading books at home? Top Tip: Digraphs are two letters that join together to make one sound (phoneme)
Chinese New Year
This week we have been learning all about the Chinese New Year. Today we really enjoyed tasting some noodles with Chinese spicers and fresh peppers.
